From the supplier: Gateway Information Services Inc surveyed 121 senior executives of large corporations, approximately 20% of whom were from the insurance industry. The survey reveals that most insurance companies favor automation of their insurance programs as the best method to achieve company goals but are less likely than other corporate executives to finance the reengineering programs. All the insurance industry executives have used automation programs in the last three years in preference to revising their work process. Insurance executives will wait until they see results from their computer programs before deciding on work process revisions.
