From the supplier: Graphical user interface (GUI) and networking are considered the most significant computer technologies to date, with Miscrosoft's Windows and the Novell Netware as the most popular GUIs and networks, respectively. Most real estate management software have been developed for DOS applications. However, Microsoft Windows is seen as better than DOS in terms of graphic display and is ease of use. Nonetheless, property managers still assume a wait and see stance regarding the benefits of Windows over existing property management software. On the other hand, Novell Netware networks are recommended for organizations that require network support. Netware 286 are suitable for 286 personal computers (PC) while the Netware 386 is suitable for 386- and 486-based PCs. Networking is best for companies where more than two people perform the same task on a computer and where shared data is beneficial.
